Another test of posting by email

I've had quite a bit of trouble with the new Google Blogger. I seriously
considered writing a post called "Google Blogger Still In Beta," and if this
works, it might just be that post.

It could also be an alternative method for checking my signature on this
account.

"Soul" at Urban Dictionary dot com

From the Urban Dictionary --
Soul:

The most cliched word in trying to sound "deep"...if you are going to
use it, use it well.

"My soul is a terrible deep black abyss that lives somewhere below
my blackhole of a heart.."

"I knew from then deep down in my soul that I was a man."

I love you, my soul.

Soul, pass me the sugar!

Yipee! With his email plastered all over his website and half the world wide web, his daily receipts must be like what the rest of us call spam.

I'm tickled pink to get a response,

Psychosneeze

I just about busted a gut:

I think the cleaning crew was stirring up dust outside my door, which was swept under it by a blast of air from outside when the automatic door opened.

I suddenly felt a sharp irritation in my nose, and here focused on other pursuits, I hardly noticed the burning before a sneeze exploded forth from my nostrils in a declaration that could not have been more accurate --

"Ah...Ah...Ah-PAY-Check!

raking leaves.

raking leaves. True human experience, sentiment versus sentimentalism. If it had taken more effort, it wouldn't have been real. I remember just such a time when I was five years old. My father had me write my wishes on a piece of paper so that when we ignited the pile of leaves, the smoke would soar skyward. They all came true.

Umpteenth attempt to post content

Tuesday, March 20, 2007

Why can't I add or change post content?

I have had success in posting from the digg.com "Blog This" button now, and this post was written from my email client, but from the Google/Blogger Dashboard, if I create a post and fill in the form, I can title it, I can label it, I can change many of its parameters, but anything I write in the content composition panel disappears once it is saved as a draft or published. If I return to try to correct this situation, it remains the same, a flying dutchman ghost post, titles, labels and no composed content, just like the one that should follow this post (if it will indeed appear).

How should the IT department's role be defined in your company? More importantly, who is your company, how does it operate and what are it's long term goals? Departmental balance and integration, will always be off if the company is facing an identity crisis.

From Google's Quotes of the Day:

I don't own a cell phone or a pager. I just hang around everyone I know, all the time. If someone wants to get a hold of me, they just say 'Mitch,' and I say 'what?' and turn my head slightly.
- Mitch Hedberg

Really, given the previously non-existent inefficiencies that everyone introduces into their lives with technology and re-conforming their beings around the framework of what is supposed to be "a modern life," what comfort, leisure or opportunity is offered by the introduction of this technology, given the ways in which it is being used?
